Wind and solar projects sit in a federal permitting queue for years before they connect to the grid. Lydia will push to fix that queue.

Electric Choice

Michigan caps electric choice at 10% of a utility's customers, maxed out since 2009, with over five thousand people waitlisted for a choice they're not allowed to make. Lydia supports lifting the cap.

Nuclear Licensing

Nuclear licensing reform has bipartisan roots and is overdue. The U.S. took nearly four years to review one plant's license. Lydia will keep pushing that reform, without cutting safety standards.

Research Transparency

Lydia will push for transparency in energy research, investigating suppressed technologies and ensuring breakthroughs benefit the public, not just corporate interests.
